1.
Clean the Vessel
¨ Living right, repented from sin is important. God will use a clean vessel.
If the vessel is not clean it must be purged. 2 Timothy 2:15-25
¨ The river of ministry (God’s Spirit) flows from inside of you out.
¨ The inside of your vessel must be clean. This is done in prayer preparation before you minister.
2. Separate
the Vessel¨ Matthew 6:19 – The Father that sees in secret will reward you openly.
¨ Keep peace flowing in your life. Isaiah 26:3
¨ Don’t clutter your mind with unfruitful stuff. Philippians 4:7
¨ Peace is harmony with God. Anything that breaks that flow of peace is a problem or a potential obstacle that you
must deal with.
¨ Empty yourself out in prayer
3. Stand in Authority¨ Acts 19:11-17; this is an example of formula verses authority. Don’t get stuck on formula or method.
¨ Binding and loosing. – Matthew 18:18-19
¨ The authority is in the name of Jesus. Matthew 28:18.
4.
Ministry with Integrity
¨
Watch your body language. What is it saying
to the person you are ministering to?
¨
Be pleasant. Breath, smile, clothes, etc.
¨ Always have a witness when giving a word of the Lord or a prophetic utterance.
¨ No secrets or in the ear prophecies. Whatever you do don’t try to explain a prophetic utterance;
especially if you did not hear it or give it. Always encourage the person receiving it to seek God for the interpretation
or to place it on hold until a future time when it may be understood.
